I shoved the mattress into a sleeping bad liner right after that cheap ass air pump died out of me on the first day of use. USA! USA! USA!👍
Hey 'Baby Girl Chickenhead' (the name on this order is actually 'Michael W.') ...Did your pump break? We're so sorry! We hope you'll reach out to us personally so we can replace that or troubleshoot because we stand behind our products and customer service- However, the pump is explained and included as a perk for quicker/convenient pack down. It's not required for the mattress to work as advertised and shown in the video, because this is a self- inflating product and the air can be manually rolled out. Hopefully you got the mattress/sleep experience you hoped for despite the random issue with the optional pump feature.
Btw, this post confused us a bit.... we're unsure what the 'Bigfoot' reference is about? :)
I bought one of these at the end of 2022 and love it. It fills easily, packs up easily, is super comfy. I bought a second one a few weeks ago to have a full mattress setup, and the newer one is terrible. The mattress won’t fill up in two spots- just flat. It’s incredibly difficult to roll up, the strap buckle snapped on first use, and the bag seam tore the first time I tried to put it back in. Super disappointed .
I’ve tried dozens of sleeping solutions for out on the trail or camping anywhere from very expensive memory foam mattresses to cheap inflatable pads to mattress toppers on cots, etc. I always avoided the deep sleep for a long time because I assumed it was just another bouncy air mattress, but it’s not that at all! The core is memory foam and it’s thick too. I’m a big guy about 300 pounds and I could never find something that was comfortable enough to support me because I’m also a side sleeper, but with the deep sleep, all I have to do is open the air valve, let it self inflate, and close the valve. I don’t have to add or remove any extra air pressure And I can sleep on my side all night long with no sore hips and shoulders in the morning, oh and of course it fits the back of my bronco perfectly. My only complaint is I should’ve done this earlier.! Seriously just get one the value you get in Comfort for the price is well worth it!
I just finished a short 3 day, 2 night overlanding run in my Jeep JKU and had just purchased the solo right before this trip. Those 2 nights were the most amazingly comfortable, uninterrupted sleep I have gotten sleeping in the back of my Jeep in years. I have tried so many mattresses and the Deepsleep Overland Solo crushed them all!! Love it!!
