I began camping out of my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (4-door) 1 1/2 years ago. I like the safety / security it offers vs. a tent, plus I have HVAC options as needed. I purchased 1 deepsleep memory foam mattress to begin with and slept well on it. Jeep did not design the seats well. When folding the rear seats down the headrests hit the front seats and they don't lay flat. It's necessary to remove the rear headrests first (see how-to videos online), and also to slide the front seats forward and lean the backrests forward (what little they will) to get close to having a flat bedding area. You then must fill in the gap at the hinge end of the rear backrests with soft material or place a thin bridge across the gap. Once all of this is done (doesn't take long) you can place your deepsleep mattress('s). I'm only 5ft 10ins but I need to sleep diagonally in my Jeep and my feet still touch the tailgate. As a result, I recently purchased and used a 2nd deepsleep mattress to render full floor coverage. As I just read in another review, the newer mattress (and bag) were made of slightly different material and stands a bit taller than my older mattress. This inconsistency did take away from my overall comfort. I'm hoping this issue will even out with use. SUMMARY: The deepsleep memory foam mattresses are pricey, but the custom fit and sleep comfort for this old guy are worth it.

You don’t realize it, but unless the mattress fits around the nooks and crannies you end up with gaps and drafts and empty space that don’t support. I really didn’t wanna spend the money on this, but I’m sure glad I did. I even had to spend an additional $70 in duties to get it into Canada.

Best sleeping pad I have ever used.
I have tried so many different configurations in my Jeep. Multiple pads on top of each other, pads on top of thermarest pads, but the awkwardness of the orientation always made a difficult sleeping situation. I only bought one side for now as I wanted to see how it was (I should have bought both) and it completely blew me away. I couldn't believe how comfortable I was. I used it on an extremely cold camp out (-8 degrees celsius) and any part touching the sleeping pad was toasty! That R value really helps. The fit in the Jeep is perfect just ensure you push your seat all the way up. A final note of appreciation: THE BAG IS SO EASY TO GET IT BACK INTO! So many times people supply bags with products like this and it is impossible to get the item back in if you can't vacuum seal it, but this worked perfectly as it is slightly larger and fits great.

My only note to anyone purchasing: It is a little slippery with a sleeping bag, so ensure you park level or you will slide a bit. That is on me.

Too long for my jk and with the rear speaker there’s no chance of it fitting. Overall the quality looks amazing and am really upset I won’t be able to have these

This is my second one to make it a complete mattress. It’s a bit expensive but worth it. I had the first one for about 4 yrs and now my wife wants to join me. We also have their full inflatable but its not as insulated for cold weather (16 deg) camping. The Solo Mat has really good insulation. Using 2 of these also makes for accessing items easier. I can just flip one over on top of the other to free up a ton of space. No air pump needed but can help packing it. The only thing I’m slightly bummed about is that it appears they used a slightly different material and logo. They also aren’t the same height. This one is about 1/4” higher. Maybe because my original one is about 4 yrs old. I highly recommend Deepsleep Overland.

I bought a single mat a few months ago and recently decided to get another one, but they’re too wide.

I originally purchased the full size air mattress a couple years ago and boy was that a mistake. The standard air mattress is not insulated at all so that means even in 50F weather I got cold everytime I moved around and that was even with multiple bottom layers. I finally got tired of it and decided to purchase a set of these self-inflators and wow! Not only are they highly insulated, they are much more comfortable! Now I can roll around all I want without dreading the cold shock. My cat also appreciates it. Definitely recommend a set because they are not wide enough by themselves due to the shape. I think they could offer a 2/3 size mattress for single sleepers to still allow cargo space for gear. Overall I am really glad I upgraded!

I just finished a short 3 day, 2 night overlanding run in my Jeep JKU and had just purchased the solo right before this trip. Those 2 nights were the most amazingly comfortable, uninterrupted sleep I have gotten sleeping in the back of my Jeep in years. I have tried so many mattresses and the Deepsleep Overland Solo crushed them all!! Love it!!

Recently used on a 2 night camping trip on my 2013 JK. Inflation was quick as I was unpacking. Great product!

I purchased a pair of solo mats for my 2021 Jeep Wrangler JL 4-door. Be aware that if you have the premium sound package with the Alpine subwoofer in the rear cargo area, your fit will be extremely tight and you won’t be able to fully inflate both mats, but it will still fit.

My wife and I have put about one week worth of sleep on these mats, and they are comfortable. I’d recommend putting a blanket, or something else, to cover the metal parts of the folded rear seats from rubbing on the mats.

I've had the deep sleep solo mattress for a bit over a year and used it on multiple camping trips. It's incredibly comfortable and fits the Jeep perfectly. It self inflates so that's a huge plus. I got this product because my other air mattress was simply too big for the back of the Jeep.

But you do have to use the pump to deflate as it's to difficult to try to roll up and get all the air without the pump. That's really not a big deal as the pump gets out almost all the air and the last bit can be rolled out easily.

There is a second valve which supposedly can be used to adjust the firmness during use. I've not used.

I'd heartily recommend this product to any other Jeep owners.

The Jeep deep sleep works great for sleeping and keeping warm in sub freezing temperatures (around 25 degrees outside). It fits great in the jk, but the mat extends forward of my cargo dog which replaced the rear seats. The cargo dog creates a flat surface from tail gate to front seats but leaves a gap behind rear seat when seat is pushed all the way forward, but easy solve with a small wood platform. Inflating and adjusting firmness is a breeze. Deflating the pad is a little more difficult, I think plus suggest getting an airpump to help remove the air and another person really helps to compress it enough to get back in storage bag. Fully compressed is still fairly big, about size of two stuffed sleeping bags so when space is limited, this is a big item to store when you are camping for multiple days. But in the end if keeping warm and sleeping well is your primary concern, this product is great
