I purchased this sleeping mat for my Kia Seltos (fits well on my passenger side with my front seat tilted slightly forward). I took it to a National Park as soon as it was delivered. 10/10 would recommend, if you are on the fence you should treat yourself.

I received my order and am pleased with how comfortable the solo mat is. My only complaint is that one of the clips on the straps was defective and won't latch entirely and the storage bag seam was coming apart. I have reached out to customer service in hopes that they will make it right. I hope I hear back.

I purchased one at the end of 2022 and don’t think I ever reviewed it— not sure why! It is SO comfortable and amazing to have to kick it in the RAV. I am going to order a second for a “full” mattress, when needed. Love getting a DEEP SLEEP on my deep sleep overload single mattress! Very easy to use and I love that it’s not a “traditional” inflatable mattress. Definitely worth it. Rolls up easily after each use!

Overall a game changer for car camping in my 2020 RAV4. I had previously tried an inflatable sleeping pad for backpacking, but the Deepsleep Solo Mat is in a different league, comfort-wise. Self-inflates simply by opening the valve and letting it suck in air for a couple of minutes. The inflation bag that ships with it makes it easy to add more firmness.

The only thing that is still bothersome is the slight downward slope towards the cargo door. I thought Deepsleep once offered leveling mats to solve this problem, but I can't find them on the site any longer.

Wow, I slept on this in my Rav4 during a 200 mile race and loved the comfort level. I used to have a Luno for my old car (outback) and it served the purpose, but wasn't nearly as comfortable and didn't stay inflated to my comfort level over multiple days for a long race. I had to reinflate during that time period. The foam makes it so much more comfortable. The only things that are disappointing about the DeepSleep mattress are 1. that I can't couple a second one to make car camping with my husband & dogs possible. Can we please get an adjusted size so that I can have a full mattress to sleep two people in my 5th gen Rav4 please??? and 2. No bolsters. That was one cool part about the luno, were the inflatable bolsters. I can use the ones I have from my luno, but they don't fit exactly the same and for similar price points for a setup, it feels as though that is lost value in the DeepSleep setup.

This was a gift for my friend so I can’t comment on the RAV 4 but I love my 4Runner and my mattresses are wonderful. I needed help with fixing one of my mattresses. They have offered to fix the problem and communicated with me through the whole process. I would highly recommend these mattresses, the employees have gone above and beyond to give back my camping comfort in my 4Runner. Thank you team!!! I love my deepsleep mattresses. 😊

I realized after ordering that the reviews are not what they seem. Several high reviews are listed multiple times. Look through for yourself. Fingers crossed this works well for camping. I opened the box and once opened you only get a 75% refund plus you pay for shipping. I wish I would have combed through the reviews before purchasing. I appreciate honesty.

The mat works great and is comfortable. The leveling mat is a great addition, but the bags for both are bad.

This review would be 5 stars if the bags were at least somewhat functional.

Both bags ripped the first time that I used them. They are made for fitting the mats in them when they are 100% decompressed from the factory, but they never get that flat again. Since the bags are tight when you put the mat back in it can pull open the valve (And it will) which partially reinflates the mat inside the bag and makes it almost impossible to get out. Covers and bags that hold gear like this NEED to be designed with the understanding that factory size is not field size. I now have two badly ripped bags that are basically useless. My plan is to try to find a duffle bag or something that can hold my mats to keep them protected when I’m traveling.

For reference I’m not some ogre who rips up gear and has never packed something back into the bag that it came in. I have lot of experience with camping gear and expanding air and foam mattresses. This is just a bad bag design as it doesn’t leave any room for expansion and it catches the valves due to being too tight and opens them locking the mat inside.

Just got it and have tested in my home. Self-inflated beautifully. And it is nice and comfortable. I’m hopeful this will let me (a side sleeper) get a good night’s rest in my RAV4 on an upcoming road trip adventure!

The best mattress I’ve ever slept on a travel in my car. I don’t wake up with a backache anymore. I love it.

I haven’t used it in my car yet, but did open it up in the house to make sure everything was good. Super comfy, feels sturdy, I think it will be great in the car. The only hitch is putting it away feels like a wrestling match. I will try the deflation pump next time to see if that helps, but I got my workout getting it small enough to go back in the bag.

These did not fit properly at all in my Wrangler. $340 for two mattresses that I would have been better off with a $40 air mattress.

Perfect fit for the Rav4 and super comfortable. It does take a bit of air to get it up to firmness after it has self-inflated and deflation will be much easier with a pump. Highly recommend.
