The mat works great and is comfortable. The leveling mat is a great addition, but the bags for both are bad.
This review would be 5 stars if the bags were at least somewhat functional.
Both bags ripped the first time that I used them. They are made for fitting the mats in them when they are 100% decompressed from the factory, but they never get that flat again. Since the bags are tight when you put the mat back in it can pull open the valve (And it will) which partially reinflates the mat inside the bag and makes it almost impossible to get out. Covers and bags that hold gear like this NEED to be designed with the understanding that factory size is not field size. I now have two badly ripped bags that are basically useless. My plan is to try to find a duffle bag or something that can hold my mats to keep them protected when I’m traveling.
For reference I’m not some ogre who rips up gear and has never packed something back into the bag that it came in. I have lot of experience with camping gear and expanding air and foam mattresses. This is just a bad bag design as it doesn’t leave any room for expansion and it catches the valves due to being too tight and opens them locking the mat inside.
Love the feel of the foam/air combo and it’s a perfect fit for the back of my 4Runner. One tip I got from customer service is that you can fit the long, 3rd row mattress in the regular configuration if you take out the rear seat bottom. Gives you a full 72” mattress vs the shorter standard version. Had an issue with one of the 2 mattresses I received. Customer service responded quickly and sent me a replacement within a day. Very happy with my purchase.
The fit is perfect and it’s way more comfortable than I imagined. I’ll probably end up buying a second.
I purchased a pair of solo mats for my 2021 Jeep Wrangler JL 4-door. Be aware that if you have the premium sound package with the Alpine subwoofer in the rear cargo area, your fit will be extremely tight and you won’t be able to fully inflate both mats, but it will still fit.
My wife and I have put about one week worth of sleep on these mats, and they are comfortable. I’d recommend putting a blanket, or something else, to cover the metal parts of the folded rear seats from rubbing on the mats.
