Has all the features I love in camping gear. I got to use it for a 3 night camping trip this past weekend and it’s definitely a game changer from bulky foam or air mattresses and I’ve tried a few different ones. Recommend highly.

The trench cover should come as a standard product when you purchase a Jeep Wrangler. It works well. I just bought this so I’m still waiting to see how it holds up to my dogs riding around with me. I had another product from a different company, but they don’t make it anymore. I have high hopes because the other product performed well. I have about 350 pounds of dogs. They outweigh me, but are well behaved most of the time. They are friendly to all people and most other dogs and some cats. They don’t like squirrels, raccoons, skunks, porcupines and deer. Luckily we have only run across one porcupine in the city in my 28 years of walking the pack. I drive the dogs more now than years ago, I’m a Big dog guy. We used to walk anywhere from 3 - 9 miles everyday depending upon the how the dogs were feeling. Now I have an 11 pound girl that needed a new home and it would be cruel to walk her 9 miles. We still do some long walks, but not everyday because she is 13 years old. I drive the dogs part of the way so they can enjoy some walks my dogs through the years have enjoyed. .Deep Sleep Overland has great service and the trench cover is working great right now. Time will tell how it holds up to my group.

Well, what a month it has been. As most of you know, I recently moved to Arizona and out of dumb luck had the opportunity to go back to Oregon to spend Elk season out in the woods. I had many people offer a bed, shower, food, etc but I really wanted to maximize my time in the woods. I wanted to treat this more like a business trip to fill my freezer than a leisure trip to see friends one last time. I had given away all of my old camping things that were heavy, old, outdated, or just didnt make sense to take to Arizona so I really didnt have a whole lot. I wanted to use the Bronco as a sort of base camp. I would park every night on BLM land and sleep in the Bronco and be just minutes from wherever I wanted to start my day on the mountain. I had been looking at how to do this realistically in an SUV and came across ads for a company called Deepsleep Overland. They make custom fit memory foam inserts for the Bronco (as well as other SUV brands). They also offered a leveling pad to make the whole back area flat. I looked at these and had thought about ordering one and started looking on their website. I noticed that they were located in Phoenix which is just a couple of hours away from our home in Sahuarita. I reached out to them through social media to let them know about my plan of basically buying one of the mattresses and leveling pads and sleeping on it for a month. I also wanted to ensure they had one in stock before I headed to Oregon to hunt. After a few messages back and forth, they assured me it wouldnt be an issue. I finally had the chance to head back and swung into their shop in Phoenix. They had the pad and the mattress set aside and even offered to check the fit before I left. I paid them after talking with them for a little bit and went on my way. That night I got to a rest area in the Nevada desert somewhere and unboxed everything. I got everything layed out and self inflated. Threw my Kings Camo 0-degree sleeping bag on top and passed out. The mattress was awesome! I was so surprised at just how comfortable it was to sleep on. It didnt matter if I was on my back or on my side. It just worked fantastic! The next morning I threw my sleeping bag in the stuff sack and rolled up the mattresses to store them back in their bags and was a little nervous because I had read some reviews that this could be slightly tedious. It wasn't at all. Open the valve, roll it up and stick a knee on it. When it is all rolled just pop the valve closed and strap it up. Easy. Fast forward three weeks. I am in the woods, I have packed out and processed three large game animals. I had been hiking 5-10 miles a day sometimes in pouring northwest rain and sometimes in the sweltering heat. Everyday at dusk rolling the pad out nd sleeping. Every morning, rolling it back up out of the way for the next days adventures. It never failed one time. It never got punctured. It never deflated at night. It just worked. That mattress paired with my sleeping bag, I was never cold or uncomfortable. I want to say to all of my friends that have Broncos, Jeeps, or any type of car camping/Overland set ups...do yourself a favor and go check out these mattresses. It is more comfortable than many hotel beds that I have slept on. The company is fantastic. It comes with an electric pump if you dont have 5 minutes to wait to let it fill on its own. The people that you support when you buy from them are awesome and very helpful. They can ship them to you and I promise it is worth what you pay and probably more. This is a product I can see myself using until it finally wears out and then I will drive back to Phoenix to purchase another one. It is THAT good. It is also a lot cheaper than a good lightweight tent and sets up a lot faster. The only time I think it wouldnt work for me is if I were to hike into the backcountry for a few days and wasn't within hiking distance of my vehicle. Next month I am headed to the Bronco Off-Rodeo just outside of Las Vagas and while most are going to be staying in hotels, I will be in the back of the Raptor on my Deepsleep Overland mattress saving money and time and being completely comfortable once again. I dont have any type of affiliation with these guys. People that know me know that when I find a brand that I like that makes a good product I will shout them out so I had to take a few minutes to say thank you to them and let you all know that if you are looking for a car camping option then seriously consider giving this company your business!

I love this mattress! I've struggled to find a suitable one for my Roof Top Tent and 2yrs ago at Overland Expo I ran into this company. Wonderful people, so friendly, so helpful. I bought 1 mattress and a year later I had to buy another for my partner. They even took others advise and created a larger bag. If I had one criticism it's a pain to deflate, otherwise I love it!

Getting ready to head out on our first ever, 11000 mile driving adventure to Alaska from Michigan, I ordered these products not knowing how well they would work. Lots of research indicated I would not be disappointed but until they are tried, we never know for sure. My wife and I started the trip in hotels and as we became more remote, started using campgrounds, and then pull-offs, all the while sleeping on the mattresses with the leveling mats. Reading all I could it was unclear where to best place the leveling mats so we tried different locations under our mattresses. With our Bronco Sport both my wife and I settled on the rear most position for the leveling mats. I always made sure I parked anywhere from the entire vehicle being level to being slightly raised in the front. We slept with our heads forward and were beyond comfortable in our sleeping bags on these. There was one stretch where we spent 13 out of 14 nights sleeping in the back of our Bronco with this set-up. The window screens worked great but being in Alaska (Land of the Midnight Sun) in July we realized we could use two more screens on the front windows. Now that I am home I just ordered those. Great job making great products Deepsleep Overland.

It takes a long time to inflate the first time, (I left it alone for over a day), but once fully inflated it was the perfect degree of softness and firmness! And they roll up to pack away very easily!

LOVE this setup so much. It's been 2 amazing years of being a DeepSleep owner and wow have I enjoyed this camping setup. I'm only now coming back to this site because my car was broken into and the camping pads were stolen. While shopping around for a replacement I wanted to sing my praises of how incredible this sleeping setup was for car camping. I was hoping to own the 4runner setup for wayyyy longer. Huge bummer.

I purchased both the leveling Matt and the single mattress. I did buy the single from another website where it was considerably cheaper. However, I am reviewing the product and not the price. Both are exactly as described and very comfortable. Both fit perfectly in my Jeep and I’m very excited to use them on our next road trip.

I recently reviewed the solo pad that supposedly works for the Subaru Outback. It was far too long. I have a 2002 Outback and customer support has been great. They told me about this pad which is 4” shorter and actually fits my Subaru! They sent me a return label via email. Thank you Jacquie!

Easy to use and the pads themselves are comfortable, my 2024 Impreza RS however doesn’t lay perfectly flat so I am going to need some sort of wedge to eliminate the high point right at my lower back. Overall fantastic sleeping mats and I am looking forward to using them again!

This was a gift for my friend so I can’t comment on the RAV 4 but I love my 4Runner and my mattresses are wonderful. I needed help with fixing one of my mattresses. They have offered to fix the problem and communicated with me through the whole process.
