Borrowed a buddies one weekend in my 2005 Highlander and though a tight fit, had no issues and slept 2 people very comfortably. He recently sold his 4 runner and I immediately bought them off him. I got lucky but was going to buy my own, 100% worth it

...is the best! Have tried a couple of Wally World air mattress be it Coleman and Intek and the price is the only thing thats better. Granted the difference in pricing, it would've saved me more money in the long run if had known and just purchased Deep Sleep in the beginning. Even tried an Ozark Trail folding cot that has to be paired with a rollup mattress for insulation of course and while it worked, the comfort was night and day! Deep Sleep, compared to my two previous air beds does not shift like a "waterbed" effect where you feel like you're floating on top of a hard bubble. Ordinary mattress also feels unstable that makes you fall off and roll when shifting positions also waking up, almost always, with a semi deflation from a leak. Deep sleep, while inflatable, has a memory foam inside for stability and insulation. First time use was getting snowed in, in Panguitch, UT and can never be more thankful and happy that I learned and took a chance on Deep Sleep system! Only gripe I had by the way was their inflator/deflator where it's pretty much the same as the regular ones but a little pricier. Other than that, it was great and a big, satisfied thank you!

I got this for a gift for our son to put into his car. Hoping he will love it though!

The mattress is great and fits perfectly in the back of my Toyota 4Runner with the seats folded down. It self-inflates, for the most part. It's thick enough for a side-sleeper. There are, apparently, 2 versions of the mattress for 4Runners. One version is straight across the top (where your head goes, toward the front of the vehicle). The other has a cut-out. When you fold the back seats down, you'll need the straight version of the mattress. I ordered this version, but received the cut-out version. It does not fit correctly. Customer Support was unbelievable. They exchanged the mattress for the correct one without any hassle. I am thinking of buying a 2nd mattress to completely cover the cargo area (for 2 people to sleep in the 4Runner).
